Uni the unicorn loved nature and animals, she loved to go outside and sniff the flowers. She was Just like all the other unicorns except for one thing, Uni was small. All of the other unicorns made fun of her, called her names like baby and wimp and never let her join in the unicorn games. One day a new unicorn came into town. She was tall and elegant. She was crowded by all the other unicorns. She was just about to run off with one of them when she saw Uni crying. She broke free of the crowd and walked over to her. " Hi I'm Tasha what's your name?" She asked. Uni looked up and said in a soft whisper "Uni." "That's a pretty name." Tasha said "do you want to play with me?" Uni slowly nodded "Yeah" she said. As we get closer to our next convention, Ian and I start feverishly gearing up. I like this prep work but it does stress me out. Ian and I both have day jobs but this is a true passion project for both of us.
One day about two years ago, Ian came to visit my husband and said he had a new business idea to put unicorn horns on everything. I instantly knew that I wanted to be part of it, and we've been working on it ever since. You see, Ian is a gifted imaginative artist, and I absolutely love making things. It's a great partnership.
So while unicorn and craft stuff has taken over my whole house and garage, I find myself searching for ways to bring more magic into the business (and into my life). Ian suggested we find a way to "give back" and we are currently finding appropriate charity-type partners we can incorporate into the business side of things. You'll see that addition if you come and visit us at Salt Lake City FanX on April 19-20.
Check back often as we add shopping to our website and announce new and interesting products, partners, and maybe even services. And feel free to reach out with suggestions and requests. We love an interesting challenge!
We are sooooo EXCITED to share this magic with you!
